Mary Frances Servis 1923 - 2009 Mary Frances Servis, 86, of Havana, formerly of Longview, WA, passed away at Havana Health Care at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2009. She was born April 9, 1923 in Virginia, IL to John Franklin and Susan Virginia (Garner) Towery. She married William “Bill” Servis on March 13, 1941 in Havana. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1997. Mrs. Servis is survived by three sons, Billy Joe (Sharon) Servis of Waterloo, IA, Earl (Melissa) Servis of Smithfield, IL, Elmer (Vicky) Servis of Canton, two daughters, Gladys (Robert) Yaeger of Pekin, Sandra (Arden) Stocks of Kalama, WA, one son-in-law Rollin Tarvin of Okeechobee, FL, 33 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister, Susan Richardson of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Eleanor Tarvin and 14 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Servis was a member of the Havana Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Pastor Dave Byrd will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Havana Food Pantry. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements. |
