Mary E. Woodard

Mary E. Woodard, 80 of 402 N Orange St., in Havana died at 10:15 pm Friday, May 19, 2005 at Havana Healthcare Center in Havana. She was born August 15, 1925 the daughter of Alfred and Bessie May Lawrence Schmidt. She married William Woodard on July 6, 1947 in Havana. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Lynn Hall of Ann Arbor, MI, Brenda ( Al) Garlisch of Easton, IL and Jo Ann Woodard of Havana, IL. In addition she is survived by 1 brother William (Doris) Schmidt of Havana, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Nick Phelps.

Mrs. Woodard was a homemaker.

Services will be held Monday, May 22 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11:00 am, the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
