Maurine Gillmore 1936 - 2007
Maurine Gillmore, 71, of Fenton, MO, died at her home on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. She was born October 18, 1936 in Bath, IL to Frank and Dolly (Miller) Holmes. She married Joyie GIllmore on Feb. 16, 1954 in Havana. Mrs. Gillmore is survived by three sons: Franklin Lee (Debbie) Gillmore of Fenton, MO, Donald Everett (Sherry) Gillmore and Melvin Britton Gillmore, both of Bonne Terre, MO; four daughters: Deb Dvorak of Atlanta, IL, Betty Jo (Tim) Poppenhager of Havana, Brenda (Randy) McCormick of Tiff, MO and Lori Ann (Jim) Budyn of Jacksonville, IL; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. and companion of 30 years Melvin Trice also survives of Arnold, MO. She is also survived by three brothers: Richard, Larry and Jimmy Holmes all of Bath, IL and three sisters: Maisey Nunn and Florene Williams of Havana and Frances DeFord of Bath. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Becky Gillmore and another daughter who died in infancy, as well as two brothers and four sisters. Graveside services will be held at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana on Friday December 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Fr. James Fedosuk will officiate. Visitation will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana one hour prior to the services. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
