Melba Jean Langenbahn (1926-2007)
Melba Jean Langenbahn, 81 of Pekin, IL died at 6:45am, September 19, 2007 at Pekin Hospital. She was born May 20, 1926 in Mason City, the daughter of James and Leota (Beard) Eudaily on May 20, 1926. She married Charles Langenbahn April 19, 1946 in San Jose, he precedes her in death. Survivors are two daughters: Carol (Tom) Sutton of Pekin, Coleen (Jim) Merry of Mapleton; one granddaughter: Michelle Sutton; two brothers: Clarence Eudaily of Dillon, MT, Paul (Jean) Eudaily of San Jose; one sister: Barbara (Jesse) Fahnders of Pekin. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Langenbahn was a member of the San Jose United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star #58 in Delavan for 50 years. Services will be 11:00am, Friday, September 21, 2007 at the San Jose United Methodist Church, burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery; Rev. Stephen King will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Hurley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
