Michael Campbell

(1957 -2010)

Michael David Campbell, 52, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1957 in Springfield to Dale and Doretha Stewart Campbell.

His father, Dale Campbell of Peterburg, survives him.

His mother preceded him in death.

Mr. Campbell had worked for the Secretary of State as a business service specialist in the business service division for approximately 15 years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Petersburg.

He played football for Northwestern University, and played on the Shriners All Star Team.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
