Havana, IL - Alfred Michael "Mike" Schuman, 57, of 317 S. Schrader in Havana died at 12:38 pm Fri., Feb. 17, 2006 at OSF St. Francis, Peoria, IL. He was born Sept. 14, 1948 in Canton, IL the son of Alfred M. and Rosemary Jennings Schuman. He married Vickie Lowe Dec. 21, 1978 in Havana and she survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Elmer Schuman of East Peoria and Alan Schuman of Canton; and three sisters, Rosemaire Wilcoxen of Canton and Brenda Hopkins and Elsie Johnson both of Dallas, TX.
He was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for the Fulton County Rehabilitation Center first as a fork lift operator and later as custodian.
Funeral Services will be held Tues. Feb. 21, 2006 at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Snicarte conducted by Rev. Mike Hopps with burial in the Fairview Cemetery rural Bath, IL. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Monday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
