Mildred J. Leithoff

1924 - 2011

Mildred J. “Millie” Leithoff, 87, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital in Havana at 7:44 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born July 6, 1924 in rural Easton to Gustav and Jessie (Gregory) Pelster.

Mrs. Leithoff is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Charles) Miller of Easton, Linda (Steve) Sexton of Havana and Donna (Bingo) Ferguson of Simi Valley, CA. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren as well as one sister, Glendora Stout of Havana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Helena Leithoff and longtime companion, Max Miller of Macomb.

Mrs. Leithoff was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She had worked for the McDonough County Supervisor of Assesments for many years, retiring in 1989.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no public services are scheduled at this time.
