Chandlerville, IL - Morris L. "Bud" Lane, 75 of 12466 Rt. 78, Chandlerville, IL died at 7:30 am Wed. May 10, 2006 at his residence. He was born Sept. 6, 1930 in Beardstown, IL the son of Ralph H. and Myrtle Jane Cox Lane. He married Doris J. Mibbs March 10, 1954 in Havana and she survives.

He was a member of the Chandlerville Christian Church, Chandlerville Post #694 American Legion and the DAV. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in Korea. He worked for over 45 years at the C & IM Coal Docks in Havana retiring in 1991.

Mr Lane is survived by three sons, Rodney (Carolyn) Lane; Randy (Debbie) Lane; Ronnie (Cheryl) Lane all of Chandlerville and one daughter, Candy (Joseph) Having also of Chandlerville. Eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one brother, Robert (Luvena) Lane of Chandlerville survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Lyle Dean Lane, three brothers and one sister.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville conducted by Rev. Duane Turley. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, rural Chandlerville. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
