Morris A. Logsdon 1921 - 2008 Morris A. Logsdon, 87, of Pekin, formerly of Manito, passed
away at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria at 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday,
October 1, 2008. He was born May 3, 1921 in Camden, IL to Nevio and Lulu
(Clayton) Logsdon. Mr. Logsdon is survived by three daughters: Ann Morris and
Virginia Larson, both of Pekin and Victoria Logsdon of Peoria. Also surviving
are seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by his parents, two wives, two brothers and one sister. Mr. Logsdon was a former member of the Pekin Assembly of God
and was a WWII Veteran. He worked on the assembly line at Caterpillar Inc. for
several years. He also worked as a
mechanic and carpenter. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in
Havana on Saturday, October 04, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior
to the services. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in
Havana. Rev. Sidney Davis will officiate. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Family Resource Center in Peoria. Online
