Myrtle Hudspeth 1907 - 2008
Myrtle Hudspeth, 101, of Petersburg, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 5:45 am at Sunny Acres Home. She was born on January 22, 1907 in Illinois to Elisha and Martha Ann Gaddie Spear. She married Cress Hudspeth on August 11, 1942 in St. Charles, MO. Her daughter, Joanne Beauchamp of Petersburg, survives her. She was preceded in death by her husband Cress Hudspeth on January 16, 1967; and four brothers. Mrs. Hudspeth was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, and she was a former member of John Allen Class at her church. She had been a practical nurse for many years in Menard County. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 1:00 pm in Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview. Rev. Julie Peterson will be officiating.
