Nancy Edna Biggs

Nancy Edna Biggs, 89, of Petersburg, died on March 29, 2006 at Sunny Acres Home. She was born on May 23, 1916 to Claude and Lou Ella Reed Antle. She married David Biggs in Campbellsville, KY on May 30, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1976.

She is survived by one daughter, Mardell (Elmer) Rankin of Petersburg; two step daughters, Ann Dodson of Rochester, MI, and Gloria Abbott of Riverton, IL; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, five brothers, four sisters, a stepson, David Biggs, and a step daughter, Mary Richardson.

Mrs. Biggs owner and operated Biggs Farm Supply with her husband in Middletown. She was a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church and a former member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Petersburg United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Sweetwater, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Petersburg United Methodist Church or the Middletown United Methodist Church.
