Naomi Aden

(1915 - 2006)

Naomi Christina Aden, 90, of Petersburg, died on February 23, 2006 at her residence. She was born on October 27, 1915 to Tade and May Miller Atterberry. She married Earl Otto Aden on October 18, 1934 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1992.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene (Ed) Whitcomb of Greenview, and Carolyn Cook of Petersburg; a son, Earl (Nancy) Aden of Petersburg; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph Atterberry of Arizona, Carl Atterberry of Petersburg, and David Kenneth Atterberry of Buffalo, IL; and two sisters, Geraldine McDole of Petersburg, and Margaret Smith of Virginia, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.

Mrs. Aden was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 2 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in the Oakford Cemetery in Oakford, IL.
