Nellie A. Snyder (1913-2008) Nellie A. Snyder, 95 of Mason City, died at 10:43am, Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her residence. She was born September 13, 1913 in Havana the daughter of August and Maggie (Dierker) Tackman. She married Paul “Babe” Snyder on September 25, 1936 in Peoria; he died April 2, 1990. Survivors are three sons: Delbert “Chub” (Loretta) Snyder of Bath, Joe Snyder and Jerry Snyder, both of Mason City; eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren. She is receded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be 10:00am, Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Assembly of God Church, visitation will be Friday from 5-7 at the Hurley Funeral Home, Nash Shawgo will officiate, burial at Mason City Cemetery.
