Havana, IL - Norma Jean Winson, 76, of 14482
N SR 78, Havana, IL died at 4:48 pm Wed. Oct. 19, 2005 at Memorial Medical
Center in Springfield, IL. She was born Aug. 27, 1929 in Wood River, IL the
daughter of Tom and Edna Riley Vivrette. She married Harold Winson May 16,
1953 in Wood River and he survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Mark (Jonie) Winson of Liberty, IL and Terry (Georgia) Winson of Springfield, IL. Three grandchildren, Courtney Winson, Katherine Winson and Justin Ray also survive alone with a sister, Aileen Akers of Wood River, and 2 nieces Judy (Paul) Struharik of E. Alton, IL and Tammy (Jay) Cox of Godfrey, IL Mrs. Winson was a member of the Havana Southern Baptist Church and formerly worked for Olin in East Alton. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at the Hurley Funeral Home, 217 N. Plum St., Havana, IL conducted by Rev. Delbert Penrod. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens at Bethalto, IL. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the Hurley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International. |
