Mr. Williams was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Havana, he farmed and worked at Hodgson’s and Snyder’s Sawmills near Kilbourne, IL for nearly 30 years and he did yard work for various people. He was a John Deere tractor enthusiast.
He is survived by his father, Howard Williams, of Kilbourne; two brothers, George (Barbara) Williams of Lexington, KY, Robert (Sara) Williams of Kilbourne; and three sisters, Dorothy, Nancy and Esther all of Kilbourne, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Howard Jr.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sat. May 6, 2006 at the First Assembly of God Church in Havana, Rev. Paul Homan officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg, IL. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Havana.
