Pearl Josephine Coulter (1922-2008) Pearl Josephine Coulter, 86, of Mason City died at 6:40pm, Saturday, November 1, 2008 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born June 25, 1922 the daughter of Ferdinand H. and Dorothy M. (Rabbe) Coulter in rural San Jose. She married Mack Dawson “Doe” Coulter in Tijuana, Mexico on September 4, 1946; he died January 3, 1999. Survivors are three sons: Dale D. Coulter, Larry (Melane) Coulter, David (Nancy) Coulter all of Mason City; seven grand children; six great-grand children; one sister: Irene Krusemark of Mason City. Mrs. Coulter is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Coulter graduated San Jose High School, was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. Services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Mason City, Pastor John Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 at Hurley Funeral Home. Memorials for can be left to her church or Mason City Area Nursing Home. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
