Phyllis A. Robison

1942 - 2011

Phyllis A. Robison, 68, of Chandlerville, passed away at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville, IL at 11:17 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was born April 17, 1942 in Bath Township, to Gilbert and Robertine (Mibbs) Shoemaker. She married Melford Robison on November 16, 1962.

Mrs. Robison is survived by two sons, Mick (Teresa) Robison and Jamie (Cathy) Robison, three grandchildren, Gilbert, Jacob and Zaden Robison, all of Chandlerville. Also surviving is one sister, Betty Lascelles of Havana and niece, Sandy Selby of Havana. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Mrs. Robison was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was formerly employed as  a bus driver for Balyki and Havana School districts for 33 years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery. Rev. Duane Turley will officiate.
