Beverly J. Reuss

Beverly J. Reuss, 73 of Mason City died at 6:00pm on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born on September 22, 1936, the daughter of George H. and Alcy L. (Neal) Roy in Springfield, IL. Beverly married Donald Reuss on February 22, 1960 in Springfield.

Survivors are her husband Donald; one son: Darrel (Kay) Reuss of Howell MI; one daughter: Diane Paap of Mason City; two sisters: Georgianne (Floyd) Houk of Springfield, Delcie Boebel of Orland Hills; three brothers: Ronald L. Roy of Springfield, Richard D. Roy of Richmond, VA, Dennis Brimberry of Brighton, MI and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Reuss graduated from Lanphier High School in Springfield, was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Mason City, and a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary.

Services will be at 11:00am on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Hurley Funeral Home, visitation will be one hour prior to service. Nash Shawgo will officiate, burial at the Mason City Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Autism Foundation or Lupus Foundation of America. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
