Richard "Rudy" Miller

Richard Lee "Rudy" Miller, 67, of Petersburg, died on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at St. John's Hospice in Springfield. He was born on December 6, 1938 in rural Menard County to Rudolph and Helen Hohimar Miller. He married Twila Moss on May 16, 1973 in Springfield, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jason (Wendy) Miller of Petersburg and Tom (Lisa) Tisdale of Greenview; three daughters, Kimberly Tisdale of Petersburg, Theresa (Andrew) Adams of Oakford, and Lisa (Companion, Rick Miller) Langley of rural Petersburg; one brother, Carl (earlene) Miller of Springfield; one sister, Betty Kemp of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mr. Miller retired as a truck driver from Master Mix Feeds in Lincoln, IL. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, a past Post Commander of the American Legion #198, and a past member of the Jaycees of Pleasant Plains.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 21,2006 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association.
