Havana, IL - Robert D. Hambrick, 83, of Havana passed away at 6:15 am Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born Sept. 18, 1928 in Cotton Plant, AR. He married Eairnesteen Marie Brown, Feb. 23, 1948 in Blythesville, AR and she preceded him in death March 25, 2005.

Mr. Hambrick was a General Foreman at National Standard in Havana which was a manufacture of Farm Equipment.

He is survived by 3 sons; Doyal (Kay) Hambrick of Oseola, IN; Alfred (Betty) Hambrick of Lewistown, IL; Jerry (Linda) Hambrick of East Peoria, IL; 2 daughters; Charlotte Tippett of Petersburg, IL and Mrs. Tom (Diana) Hardesty of Havana. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one sister Betty (Paul) Mayhew of Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Pastor Kenny Kidd. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
