Roberta Anne Bergman

1938-2005

Roberta Anne “Bobby Anne” Bergman, 67, of Mason City, died at 8:37 PM Wednesday April 20, 2005 at St. John’s Hospital North in Springfield. She was born on January 29, 1938 to Robert O. and Frances Cave Ellmore. She married James Bergman in February of 1957 in Mason City.

Mrs. Bergman is survived by her husband and father, both of Mason City; 3 sons: Greg (Sue) Bergman of London, UK, Gary R. (Deborah) Bergman of Charlotte, NC,  and Todd A. (Terry) Bergman of St. Louis, MO; 2 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Mrs. Bergman worked as a teller at the Mason City National Bank for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the 1^st United Methodist Church of Mason City and an avid quilter.

Services for Mrs. Bergman will be held at her church on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Smith will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mason City Cemetery following the funeral services. Memorials may be made to her church or the Mason City Library.
