Havana, IL - Roberta Garner Harbison, 89, of LeRoy, IL formerly of Havana passed away at 5:30 am Sat. Sept. 16, 2006 at LeRoy Manor. She was born April 6, 1917 in Chandlerville, IL the daughter of Ernest and Emma Dearing Garner. She married Edward George Harbison May 8, 1937 in Beardstown and he died Feb. 11, 1999.

She is survived by one son, Joe Edward (Vicky) Harbison of LeRoy, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Harbison was preceded in death by one son Ernest Gene; three sisters, Lola, Geneva and Robertine; and four brothers, Harry, Edison, Robert, and Ernest.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tues. Sept. 19, 2006 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, conducted by Rev. Robert Smith. There will be no visitation.
