Robert A. Burgett 1954 - 2007 Robert A. Burgett, 53, of Bath, died at his home at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007. He was born August 31, 1954 in Canton, IL to Robert D. and Donna (Herring) Burgett. Mr. Burgett is survived by two daughters: Julianna McFall of Canton and Shalea Burgett of Florida; four sons: Nathan Burgett of Louisana, Bo Chasteen of Lewistown and Gage and Tyler Gilmore of Mason City; three grandchildren: Katelynn and Ryan Anderson of Canton and Natalie Burgett of Florida. Also surviving are two brothers: James Burgett of Havana and Robert Burgett of Cuba; eight sisters: Cathy Sinclair of Springfield, OH, , June Cohee, Paula Rich of Bath, Amy Dobson Havana, Melissa Goforth and Chris Sayers of Bader, IL, Becky Black and Robin Beard of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother Randy Burgett and one sister Brenda Ray. Mr. Burgett enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to bluegrass music. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Snicarte Cemetery. Rev. Jason Phillips will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
