Bath, IL - Rodney D. Fletcher, 45, of 8984 E CR 500 N, Bath, IL died at 1:29 am Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005 in rural Bath, IL. He was born Jan. 26, 1960 in Havana, IL the son of Norman E. and Bessie Hardy Fletcher. He married Christine Shawgo Oct. 12, 1991 in Snicarte, IL. She survives along with his parents of Bath. Also surviving is one son; Samuel and one daughter, Steffany both at home and 2 sisters, Belle Fletcher and Penny (Bruce) Potts both of Bath, IL.

He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church near Bath, Ducks Unlimited and was very active in Ducks Unlimited’s Greenwing program. He was a member of IBEW and was a heavy equipment operator at the Havana Power Station for Dynegy.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Mon. Nov. 21, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, Rev. Duane Turley officiating with burial in the Fairview Cemetery near Bath. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 until 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to an educational fund for his children c/o People’s State Bank of Chandlerville.
