Rosalie I. Josserand (1917 - 2009)
Rosalie I. Josserand, 92, of Tallula, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 8:05 pm at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on July 5, 1917 in Borton, IL to Leroy and Margaret Wood Turner. She married Randall Josserand November 14, 1945, She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Art) Gum of Tallula; five grandchildren, Angie Gum, Randy (Jennifer) Gum, Jeff (Tori) Gum, Kevin Gum, and Mike Gum; and five great grandchildren. Her husband, two sisters, and three brothers preceded her in death. She was a teacher. She was a member of Tallula Christian Church, Eastern Star and Tallula Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at Tallula Christian Church. Rev. Jon Bormann will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
