Rose M. Anderson (1925 - 2005) Rose M. Anderson, 80, of Mason City, died at 1:10 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL on Tuesday, December 06, 2005. She was born in Little Rock, AR on March 7, 1925 to Robert and Louise Sanborn. She was married to Donald Anderson. They were later divorced and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters: Sherri (Earl) Smith of Lawrenceville, NJ and Lisa Hancock of Mason City; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. She attended church services at Indian Point Presbyterian Church in Menard County. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at the Genesee Co. Mental Health in Michigan for over twenty years. Memorials may be made to the Friends of St. John’s Hospital. No services are planned at this time. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
