Roy D. Fletcher 1917 - 2009
Roy D. Fletcher, 92, of rural Bath, passed away at his home at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009. He was born June 8, 1917 in rural Bath to Willis and Mary Elizabeth (Turner) Fletcher. He married Marion Warren, July 28, 1935 in Havana. Mr. Fletcher is survived by one son, Norman (Nancy) Fletcher of Bath and one daughter Ruth Ann (John) Andrews of Altona, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters and two brothers. Mr. Fletcher was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge in Chandlerville. He had farmed his whole life. Funeral services will be held at his church at 10:30 on Monday, November 23, 2009. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Judy Vidakovich will officiate.
