Russell A. Pherigo

1959 - 2009

Russell A. Pherigo, 50, of Havana, passed away at 4:11 a.m. at OSF – St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria on Sunday, November 8, 2009. He was born January 5, 1959 in Pekin to Allen Russell and Cleo (Ford) Pherigo. He married Vicky Everhart on January 22, 1993 in Apache Junction, AZ.

Mr. Pherigo is survived by his wife of Havana, father of San Jose, one daughter, Jessica Pherigo of Pekin and two sons, Christopher and Tyler Pherigo, both of Havana. Also surviving are two sisters, Gina (Roger) Bowling of Hutchinson, KS, Merlena (Eddie) DeLaROsa of Gilbert, AZ, brother, Kellie (Christine) Pherigo of Chandlerville and step-brother, Jessie (Anissa) Stiles of Pekin. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Pherigo worked as a plant manager at Reed Minerals in Pekin for several years.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date.

Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
