Ruth Parker

Ruth E. Parker, 75, of Petersburg, formerly of Pittsboro, NC, died May 24,2 005 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born October 13, 1928 to Silas and Melissa Lee. She married Herman E. Barefoot in 1944. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are one son, Wille Glenn (Phyllis) Barefoot of Pittsboro, NC, one daughter, Angeline (Russell) Severns of Oakford, IL, four sisters, Merlese Tart of Dunn, NC, Daisy (Edward) Griffin of Rocky Mountain, NC, Barbara Ann (Sam) Forbes of Russellville, Ark, and Frances (Bill) Bunting of Garner, NC, and one brother, Earl Lee of Benson, NC.

A son, Rayvon H. Barefoot, husband, and four brothers preceded her in death.

Cremation rights have been accorded. Services will be at a later date in North Carolina.
