Ruth C. Felles

1941 - 2010

Ruth C. Felles, 68, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital in Havana at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. She was born December 12, 1941 in Havana to David and Dorothy C. (Kendrick) Mason.

Mrs. Felles is survived by three daughters, Brenda (companion, John Allard) Simmers, Daleta (companion, Dave Neteler) Wilkey, both of Havana, Georgina Collins of Monte Vista, CO, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Roger Mason of Havana and David Mason of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Melvin Rilea and Fred Felles and one son, Freddie Allan Morrill.

Mrs. Felles was a member of the Havana Assembly of God. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and Amvets. She had worked at several local eating and drinking establishments, as well as being a home health care provider.

Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Pastor Paul Homan will officiate.
