Pekin, IL - Sadie M. Pate, 90, of Pekin, IL died at 9:22 am Thurs., April 27, 2006 at Apostolic Christian Restmor, in Morton, IL. She was born May 20, 1915 in Havana, IL the daughter of Ross David and Rilla Mae Little LeMasters. She married Donald V. O’Brien Dec. 15, 1930. She later married Paul A. Pate July 14, 1949 and he preceded her in death.

She worked for Hiram Walker Distillery for 32 ½ years retiring June 1, 1997.

Mrs. Pate is survived by four sons, Larry O’Brien of Greenview, IL, Jim O’Brien of Plymouth, IN, Jack O’Brien of Tremont, IL and Walter Pate of Glasford, IL. Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive along with two sisters, Berneita Marshall of Plymouth, IL and Ellen Lucille Bradshaw of Peoria, IL

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred R. and Harold John LeMasters and one daughter Donna Abbott.

Graveside services will held at 11:00 am Sat. April 29, 2006 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana conducted by Rev. Frank Valente. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
