Sarah Lee Brodt, 52, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at her residence. She was born on April 22, 1957 in Tacoma , Washington to Robert Dean and Patricia Faye Kelly Brodt.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela DiAngelo of Petersburg; a son, Patrick Gieser; companion, Mike Merkel of Oakford, IL; two sisters, Lisa Anna Minor of Ashland, and Jennifer Brodt of Petersburg; and a brother, John Brodt of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg.
