Havana, IL - Sharon K. Bridges, 60,
of 226 N. Harpham St., Havana, IL passed away at 10:45 am
Thurs., July 20, 2006 at her residence. She was born Nov. 4,
1945 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Garey and Mary Beck
Peterson. She married Eldon Bridges Jan. 26, 1963 in Petersburg,
IL and he survives.
Also surviving is her mother, Mary Peterson of Bakersfield, CA; two daughters, Mindy Bridges of Springfield, IL and Kim Valenzuela of Bakerfield, CA. One step-grandson, Joseph and one step great granddaughter, Gracie survive alone with five sisters, Virginia Schoonover, Phyllis Pagett, Mary Wilson and Branda West all of Bakersfield, CA and Joyce Joslin of Hawaiian Gardens, CA. Two brothers, Gene Peterson of Colorado Springs, CO and Gary Wayne Peterson of Bakersfield, CA also survive. She was preceded in death by her father. She worked as a security guard for Intermet in Havana. Cremation Rites will be accorded and a memorial meal will be held at 2:00 pm Tues. July 25, 2006 at VFW Post #6408 in Havana. Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society. |
