Shirley Williams

(1927-2010)

Shirley J. Williams, 82, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Springfield to Robert and Susie Stufflebeam Britton.

She is survived three sons, Robert Schneider of St. Louis, Phillip Schneider of St. Louis, and Gary (Marilyn) Schneider of House Springs, MO; a daughter, Susie (fiancé Joe Peden) Springfield; a sister, Dolores (Raymond) Seger of Florida; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.

She had worked as a beautician.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
