Shirley Wagner 1936 - 2006 Shirley Wagner, 70, of San Jose, IL died at Pekin Hospital at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. She was born January 1, 1936 to James and Cleeta Mathias in St. James, IL. She married Fred A. Wagner in Las Vegas on February 23, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1987. Mrs. Wagner is survived by one daughter: Phyllis Wagner and two sons: Fred Wagner Jr. and Robert Wagner, all of San Jose. Also surviving are four brothers: Sherman Mathias, Norman Mathias, Bud Mathias and Jim Mathias and two sisters: Kay Mathias and Jenny Mathias. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Fred. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in San Jose on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow the services at Green Valley Cemetery. Rev. Allen Payne will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
