Shirley E. Blair 1936 - 2008
Chandlerville, IL - Shirley E. Blair, 71, of Chandlerville
passed away at 6:00 pm Thurs., Feb. 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born
April 3, 1936 in Ashland, IL the daughter of Walter and Wilma Epperson Maddox.
She married John Blair Jan. 28, 1977 in Bath, IL and he survives. Mrs. Blair was a member of the Virginia Church of Christ,
Chandlerville American Legion Auxiliary, she loved to play cards and
aggravation, and loved to help others. She worked for Ideal Industries in
Petersburg for many years until her retirement. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Steven
(Amy) Theivagt of Virginia, IL and David Theivagt of Columbia, SC; five
grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters;
Lois Boston of Jacksonville and Sandra (Jim) Dawdy of Murrayville, IL and one
brother Jack (Vicki) Maddox of Ormond Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by
her parents and one step son, Kevin.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at the Lintner-Hurley
Funeral Home in Chandlerville conducted by Rev. Leslie Featheringill. Burial
will be in the Chandlerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until
6:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family
