1924-2009
Shirley Mae Mangold, 85, of Mason City, died at 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born July 9, 1924 the daughter of Claude and Ida (Horn) Beauchamp in Greenview, IL. She married Alfred Mangold on January 18, 1947 in Greenview, IL, he preceded her in death. Survivors are one daughter: Kimberly Sue (Gary) Cross of Heyworth, IL and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Women’s Club. She graduated from Greenview High School. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Mason City United Presbyterian Church at 11:00 A.M. Charlotte Poetschner will officiate. Burial will be at Richmond Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 5-7 P.M. Memorials may be left to Mason City Area Nursing Home. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
