Stanley W. Niederer 1924 - 2010 Stanley W. Niederer, 86, of Havana, passed away at 10:18 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born January 7, 1924 in Long Branch, near Havana, IL to William and Minnie (Nehmelman) Niederer. Mr. Niederer is survived by one daughter, Tina Turner, of Bloomington, two sons, Gary Niederer and Paul (Angie) Niederer, both of Havana as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Gary and his daughters will be hosting a gathering of his friends and family will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellow’s Hall in Havana on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
