Stella Marie Watkins 1910 - 2006
Stella Marie Watkins, 96, of
Petersburg, formerly of Springfield, died on Monday, September 18, 2006 at
Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg. She was born on January 6, 1910 in
Farmingdale, IL to Louis and Florence Minder Miller. She married Elmo
Watkins on June 8, 1964 in Rock Island, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two stepsons, David
Watkins of Sauget, IL and Grant Watkins of Dupo, IL; and one niece, Kay
Kurtner of Springfield, IL.
Mrs. Watkins was a homemaker.
A graveside service will be held on
Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 10:00 am at Camp Butler National Cemetery in
Springfield. Pastor Dan Roseberry will be officiating.
