Stephanie Kay Nicholas, 43, of Havana , died at OSF-St. Francis in Peoria at 1:54 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2006 . She was born to Jimmy and Janis Holmes on September 15, 1962 in Havana , IL .

She is survived by three sons: Nathan (Diane) Nicholas of Canton, IL, Aaron Long of Bath , Anthony Holmes of Bath and one daughter: Sunshine Nicholas of Pleasant Plains, IL. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one brother, James (Mandy) Holmes of Concord, IL. 

She was a former member of the Paddlewheel Bowling League and worked at Oney’s Grocery Store in Havana in the deli. 

Funeral services will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Friday February 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Mike Stroh will officiate. Burial will be at Bath Cemetery following the services.
