Stephen R. Hamm 1991 - 2007
Havana, IL - Stephen R. Hamm, 16, of Havana passed away at
7:00 pm Wed. Sept. 5, 2007. He was born July 30, 1991 in Canton to Gary and
Rhonda Williams Hamm. Stephen was a Sophomore at Havana High School, he had many
interests, among them was his dog, "Jake", playing the guitar, music and
fishing. He also loved going to baseball games and collecting sports
memorabilia. He liked all sports, baseball, football, basketball and swimming.
He also liked hunting mushrooms and just being with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Gary Hamm and Rhonda Hamm both
of Havana; grandparents, Russell and Beverly Hamm of Ipava, IL; Frances Williams
of Havana and Wanda Lee Beck of Astoria. He is also survived by two sisters,
Suzanne and Stephanie Hamm both of Havana along with several aunts, uncles and
cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, Sept. 10,
2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Havana conducted by Revs. Robert
Smith and Sue Roat. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday at
the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at
Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his
