Steven A. Arnold

(1947-2005)

Steven Arnold of Mason City died 6:35 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005. He was born March 7, 1947 in Lincoln to Kenneth and Waunetta (Stumier) Arnold.  He married Patricia Boston on November 2, 1969 in Mason City.

Survivors include:  one son, Todd (Shelly) Arnold of Mason City; one daughter, Heather (Robert) Herndon of Normal, Illinois; and 4 grandchildren:  Brooke and Bailey Arnold of Mason City and Raeanne and Jaycen Herndon of Normal.  He was preceded in death by his father, brother, and sister.

Mr. Arnold worked for Texaco Company and National-By-Products.  He owned and operated a truck that was leased to Hallway S & H Trucking in Greenview, Illinois for 25 years.  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Mason City. He was also a member of the Mason City Fire Department for 28 years and at one time served as the Assistant Chief, a member of the Greenview AMVETS and the Mason City American Legion.

Services for Mr. Arnold will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City.  Visitation will be held two hours prior.  Nash Shawgo will be officiating with burial in Mason City Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mason City Fire Department.
