Steven Burchell

(1970-2004)

Steven W. Burchell of Topeka, IL died 4:20 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1970 in Peoria, IL to James Harold Bice and Thelma Louise Burchell. 

Survivors include one son: Kevin Carrigan of Granite City, IL and one daughter: Stephane McKinney of Peoria, IL; grandmother: Virginia Burchell of Peoria, IL and fiance: Shelley Bobbs of Topeka, IL; three brothers: David Robinson of Pekin, IL; James Bice, II of Topeka, IL and James Bice of Pekin, IL; and one sister: Amy Slaybaugh of Creve Couer, IL.  He was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather. 

Mr. Burchell raced cars at Peoria Speedway and last worked at Wal-Mart in Pekin. 

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, IL.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
