Steven R. Green, 52, of Havana, passed away at his home at 5:39 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2011. He was born January 19, 1959 in Havana to Lawson L. and Rose M. (Wells) Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his mother, Rose, of South Whitley, IN, two brothers, Gary (Donna) Green of Mason City and Michael (Judy) Green of South Whitley, IN. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Green was an associate member of VFW Post #6408 in Havana. He had worked for Hartung Brothers Inc. as a bean picker for many summers.

Graveside services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Kent Tangman will officiate.
