Marjilou Tackman

(1941-2006)

Mason City, IL – Marjilou Tackman, 64, of 26 Coachlight Village, Mason City, IL passed away at 11:45 am Sat. Aug 5, 2006 at her home.  She was born Sept. 27, 1941 in Beardstown, IL the daughter of Robert and Margie Morrell Keith.  She married Ronald Tackman Aug. 10, 1968 in Lincoln, IL and he survives.

She was a member of the Mason City Baptist Church, a former coal miner and a business owner of several taverns in Mason City, Easton and Topeka, IL.

Mrs. Tackman is survived by two daughters, Ronda (Bryan) Close of Mason City and Carla (Ernest) Moreland of Sherman, IL.  Four sons, Bill (Patricia) Harrison of San Jose, Tom (Jennifer) Harrison of Mason City, Greg Harrison of Kentucky, and Carl Tackman of Mason City also survive.  There are also seven grandchildren, three sisters, Barb Keith of Longbeach, CA, Sandy Thomas of Orville, CA and Bertalee Burnham of Tacoma, WA and one brother Danny Marcum of Kelseyville, CA.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wed. Aug. 9, 2006 at the Mason City Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Curt McCallister.  Burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at her church (from noon until 2:00 pm).   Memorial Contributions may be made to her church.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hurleyfh.com.  Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of services.
