Thomas Watts

Thomas Joseph Watts, 68, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at 12:18 am at his residence. He was born October 17, 1942 in Springfield to Marvin Homer and Minnie Evalyn Burt Watts. He married Linda Hodge.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Petersburg; two daughters, Brenda (Steve) Wegner, their daughter, Amanda, and son, Steven, Jr., and his daughter, Kylee, all of Worth, IL, and Crystal (Robert) Salzman, and their two sons, John and Justin, all of Toccoa, GA; two stepsons, Douglas Carter, his daughter, Olivia, and son Shawne, all of Petersburg, and Michael Carter, his sons, Trent, and Blake, and daughter, Abigail, all of Peoria; one stepdaughter, Tammy Clostermery, and her son Michael, both of Springfield; three sisters, Linda Watkins and Susie Watts, both of Williamsville, and Patty Vaughn of Springfield; and three brothers, Ricky Watts of Petersburg, Artie Watts and John Watts, both of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Watts worked as a cement finisher for 32 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
