Tommie Ray Easton

1938 - 2007

Forest City, IL - Tommie Ray Easton, 69, of Forest City passed away at 5:55 pm Sun. June 24, 2007 at the Timber Creek Nursing Home in Pekin, IL. He was born June 23, 1938 in Smith Grove, KY the son of John and Eurah Ground Hainline. He married Judy Boozer Aug. 31, 1969 in Peoria, IL and she survives.

Mr. Easton enjoyed gardening and his pets. He had worked for Keystone Steel and Wire Co. in Bartonville, Watson International, Farm Service, Thermogas, and Forest City Township in addition to working for several area farmers.

In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by one brother, Harry Dale (Paula) Hainline of Victoria, IL; three sisters, Mary (Melvin) Beebe of Manito, and Marie Buchanan and Sue Paulsen both of Peoria. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Thurs. June 28, 2007 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Tom Guengerich. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 pm Wed. at the funeral home.
