Surviving are his mother of Havana, one brother- JD Stoever of Champaign, IL. and one sister-Nicole Stoever of Terre Haute, IN. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana. He worked as a laborer for Dana Corporation.

Services were held on February 4, 2005 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana, IL with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
