Vera Boyd Jarrett   

1927 - 2007

Vera Boyd Jarrett, 80, of Canton, IL died at Graham Hospital in Canton, at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2007. She was born June 9, 1927 in Rushville, IL to Harry and Bertha (Giddings) Wardell.

She married Arthur Merrill and they had two children: Paul A. (LeVerna) Merrill of Mineral Point, MO and MaryLou (Chuck) Ziegenhorn of Lewistown, IL. She then married Ralph T. Boyd. Her preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by her husband, A.J. Jarrett of Cuba, IL, one brother: Herschel (Barb) Wardell of Texas, her two children, , numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jarrett is retired from OSF – St. Francis where she worked in the laundry department for seventeen years.
