Havana, IL - Vera M. Nordhausen, 90, of 724
E. Adams St., Havana, IL died at 11:10 am Sat. Dec. 10, 2005 at her
residence. She was born July 9, 1915 in Mason County, IL the daughter of
John H. And Wilhelmina "Minnie" Wiemer Kastendick. She married Adolph H.
Nordhausen Oct. 26, 1941 at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Bath, IL and he
died March 26, 2001.
She is survived by 1 brother, Harold Kastendick of Havana, 3 sisters, Dorothy Rayburn of E. Peoria, IL, Edna Herrman of Chandlerville, IL and Lorene Fanter of Havana, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Bath and St. Paul’s Ladies Aid Society. Services will be held Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 at 2:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pastor Brian Lesemann officiating with visitation one hour prior at the church (from 1:00 until 2:00 pm). Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to her church. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements. |
